About Niche Interior Designs
At a young age I could be found with paints, crayons, colored pencils, and building blocks, leading my way into a life of illustration, art, design and all things building. I knew at an early stage of my life that art and design would be my passion and a career would come of it. After completing high school I attended university in Nova Scotia to attain a degree in architecture, but after 2 years of study I decided I needed a break and took a year off to travel. I found myself stopping at every gallery and museum taking in what the worlds artists had to offer. With a new found insatiable appetite for art and design I decided to change my path of study and was accepted into the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. After learning many disciplines at NSCAD I quickly started to focus on design which would eventually lead me down the road to what is now Niche Interior Design. My intense fascination with detail, clean lines, symmetry, wood and design all combine to create a perfect unity and exemplify the core values we uphold at Niche. Woodworking is my passion and we always strive to reflect this in every project we do, big or small.
